Toasting the New Year!






Cheers to the New Year! 
What better way to ring it in with none other than our favorite cocktail. For those of you who don't know, gin is our top drink (tied with prosecco that is). There's nothing like having a stocked bar cart in ones home that's on the ready for whenever you're looking to quench your thirst! At this moment we are LOVING gin with strawberries, black pepper and tonic. It has such a refreshing taste and the pepper while muted still gives off a hint of spice.  We tend to do low key parties for NYE so this drink will be an easy one to make without having to take time away from hosting to whip up a cocktail. All you'll need is:

- 3 ice cubes
- 2 fresh strawberries
- 1 pinch of black peppercorns
- 1 oz gin (we prefer Hendrick's)
- tonic (as much as you'd like)

Fill your glass in above order, and enjoy!

It's no secret that my favorite holiday is Christmas! I know it sounds crazy but I decorate every year on Nov. 1, mostly because I love the the general spirit of Christmas. I love how everything looks, and more importantly, how everything feels. People in general are in a lot better moods around the holidays so it's nice kicking that off early. I tend to keep my decor more traditional for Christmas, and I love the feel of the coziness it brings into my home. My favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch under a big blanket with a hot mug of chai and watch my top Christmas movies while the coal stove roars in the background-- it's simply peaceful! How do you guys decorate during the holidays?

My New Hair Care Routine









So guys, I have to tell you all about this new haircare routine I've recently fell in love with. It's OUAI by Jen Atkins and it's a complete game changer! I have long curly hair and for those who don't know, it can be a struggle. My hair tends to feel dry and get tangled very easily so I'm constantly on the hunt for something to fix these issues. OUAI has delivered on every aspect that I was looking for in my haircare routine. The shampoo & conditioner leave my hair feeling so soft and hydrated while the oil pairs nicely to tame my frizz and give my hair a nice shine. Not to mention that the oil smells so amazing it's like you just washed your hair (even if you haven't in a few days). I love to blow dry my hair with mousse, the good stuff- not the kind that leaves your hair feeling crunchy, and OUAI knocked it out of the park. When my hair is done and all styled, I like it to have that touchable feel and this mousse really accomplished that. I can't rave enough about these products, I'm not thinking of purchasing the hairspray and curl jelly. I'll let you know how that goes.. in the meantime- thanks for stopping by & enjoy your Sunday!

Bruges








Our recent trip to Bruges was perfect in every way. I've been to Bruges before and I keep falling in love with every new trip I make. It is such a quaint and relatively quiet town with lots of local and chain stores, and tons of great restaurants and chocolate shops . My favorite aspect to Bruges is that houses seamlessly blend into one another all while having different facades. Every time you turn a corner you're crossing another bridge over the cutest water canal you've ever seen. I love life in Brussels but I love how life slows down in Bruges! It is a definite place to visit while traveling through Europe.

My go to outfit for a casual night with friends






When heading out for a night with friends, I always like to be comfortably chic! Neutral sweaters, cozy cardigans and boots are my staple pieces in my closet. They can be so versatile as to what I pair them with and where I wear them to. My color palette is almost always neutral- don't get me wrong, I'll add a pop of color in at times but I just love how classic and cool neutral looks. It can be carried through any season and any ensemble. All my friends laugh because everything I have is either grey, tan, black or pale pink, but I know what works for me and I know the look I'm going for. To me, that's whats most important- no matter where your going, always wear something that you feel confident in!

Calling all women! I've rounded up my top perfumes this holiday seasons to create the perfect scent geared gift guide. I always instantly think of perfume when it comes to buying for my mother or a  best friend. Perfume to me is that last piece you need to complete your outfit. I personally love having so many varieties because each scent is so different and translates into what i'm feeling for that day, so it sort of like tells a story. Christmas Gift Guide // Spa Day










Who doesn't love a nice night in with a little bit of wine & some pampering.  Here are some products I love that I thought would be the perfect gift to give to someone who loves body care and spa products.

First we have Farmhouse Fresh! They have the cutest packaging and this incredible program to help rescue farm animals. Everything from them is amazing but I especially love the Whoopie gift set that includes a hand cream, candle, lotion and body wash! You guys, this scent is seriously one of the best things to ever happen to my life! It's sweet and smells just like cake.  Their lip balm and mini lotion samplers also make perfect stocking stuffer gifts. 

Next we have the Laura Mercier bath gift set. The packaging is so cute and clearly my favorite part is the honey comb wand! I love any scent that is sweet and contains vanilla so this instantly had to be on the list. My love for LM is new, and they nailed it when rolling out this set for the holidays. The lotion made my skin feel soft and the spray was a little bonus especially when you're like me and love to layer the scents. 

Lastly we have the forever cult classic Diptyque 'baies' candle and my current favorite lip balm by Kiehl's. This candle is honestly a must have for any collector like myself. Plus once it's empty you can easily transition it into a vase or makeup brush holder! As for the lip balm, it's creamy and truly moisturizes unlike other brands that I feel just dry out my lips even worse than before.

Welcome to our blog.. our names are Danielle & Elissa and together we own Coco & Fox! We recently lost all content on our original blog so we are now starting from scratch... again.

Here is our outlet for all the things that interest us, whether it be home decor, fashion, health, etc. Some fun facts: we are identical twins, we somehow are exactly alike but also completely different, travel & food are our favorite things, and we love animals.
